- Duration: 3.5 hours

According to some legends, the establishment of Prague began within these castle ruins. This castle is where mythical Princess Libuse predicted the glory of the Golden City. We begin a leisurely walk toward the ramparts to enjoy breathtaking views from the cliff, and discuss legends and historical facts. We will visit the actual locations of Prince Horymír’s escape, and the pillar brought to Vysehrad by the Devil himself! We will walk around the Vysehrad Cemetery, where the heroes of Bohemia have been buried for centuries, and see the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul.
We conclude the day with an exploration of the casemates, the secret passages allowing soldiers to move undetected, and an underground hall called “Gorlice”, which houses the original statues from the Charles Bridge!
